First off, what is the 2007 Acura CSX all about?

You can sure take a hint from Jim Miller, the executive vice president of Honda’s Canada arm. He does say, “The new Type S model will serve as a gateway product to Acura’s performance heritage for those Canadians who want both affordable luxury and high performance.”

So now you are asking, Honda? What does Honda have to do with the 2007 Acura CSX?

Well, in simple terms, let us just say that Honda is the mothership from where all those Acura vehicles come from. Honda is the company under which the Acura brand can be found.

Anyhow, you see, the newest version of the 2007 Acura CSX Type S would soon be gracing the dealerships and showrooms in Canada. No, those who live in the United States would still have to wait and see if the vehicle would be available in their market. This is primarily because Acura and Honda have chosen Canada as the single market where they would be launching and marketing this high performance luxury sedan. So to those who are in the United States, you would have to make do with all other Acura vehicles and spruce them up with your chosen Acura auto parts. (more…)

The Acura Integra was a fantastic car and still is, but sadly enough it is no longer in production. The Acura Intgra is still a very sought after vehicle mainly due to its famed Type-R, GS-R engine. This was a 1.8L engine with 16 valves, belt-driven, dual overhead camshafts with Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) system that is capable of produced 195Hp @ 8000 RPM. Not too bad considering that most of the muscle machines of the 60s only produced 250Hp stock.

Now add headers, turbocharger and a cold air intake and you can push that puppy up to 350hp. The Camaro Z28, 350 LT-1 only produced 300Hp stock and the Integra is a fraction of the weight, not too shabby.

Wows now let’s add Nitrous Oxide Injection to give us that last minute extra boost of Horsepower so we can blow away all the competition. Sweet you think. (more…)
